As a Christian based organization, concerned about serving God's purposes, Wide Horizons, Inc. and its team would like to offer a prayer of peace and hope for you, your family and those around you. The God of Hope is able to fill us with all joy and peace as we trust in Him, so that we overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13 NIV).
We are so thankful for all who have helped with the work and mission at Wide Horizons. We are thankful for the support of the community we serve. We are prayerful that God will meet all their needs. He has not forsaken us, so let's not forsake Him. As we look forward to the joy and hope of tomorrow as we trust in Him, let's reflect on the past and remember, despite the challenges we have faced, God has continued to lead us through, offering a life more than abundant through His son, Jesus Christ. God Bless you all. Thank you for being part of our Wide Horizons family. Much Love, Troy and Monica Wide Horizons Inc. partners with Second Harvest Food Bank of San Joaquin & Stanislaus Counties.12/6/2020 The Wide Horizons Inc. Board of Directors, Participants & their families all got together for an amazing event and gave back to our community! Thank you to the inspiring team at the Second Harvest Food Bank for partnering with us on this opportunity while keeping us safe and socially distanced.
Our volunteers helped to process 4,000 pounds of donated fruit that will be distributed to local senior centers and school programs! We are Stronger Together. We are taking a Stand. We are Giving it Back. We are Lending a Hand. We are Serving Others. We are Enlightened. WE ARE WIDE HORIZONS! The board of directors and select members of its participants will support the local Second Harvest Food Bank in Manteca, CA. The needs of the food bank and our community residents are greater than ever. With precautions in place, the team will meet and lend a hand in support at this special event.
Since I was a child, my parents taught me the importance of being humble, respectful, but most important to be grateful. Thank God for his blessings, and thank each one of you who have extended their hand, offering me love, support, care, and concern. Every day, I do my best to apply my parents' lessons of remaining humble, respectful and expressing my gratitude.
This year I can not find enough words to express my gratitude and say, Thank you. Thank you because 2020 has been challenging for all of us, including at Wide Horizons. However, I choose to emphasize the positives; we have been inspired and motivated to be more united and find creative ways to overcome the seemingly endless obstacles confronting us. I feel that today we are closer than ever and have not missed one single milestone. We have also met more people from across the country we could never have dreamed of meeting. And their help has been invaluable. One of our teammates lovingly wrote this about Wide Horizons.. WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER; WE ARE TAKING STAND. WE ARE GIVING IT BACK; WE ARE LENDING A HAND. WE ARE SERVING OTHERS; WE ARE ENLIGHTED. WE ARE WIDE HORIZONS. I believe every word of this, because it's true about ALL OF YOU! Please know, we are so grateful for having you on our team. Your time and contributions to our cause are highly appreciated. So "Thank you very much." Happy Thanksgiving. May God fill your life with blessings for your great heart. Kindly, Monica Stelmack ![]() Carla Jewett has been with us since the beginning. Her wisdom, experience and passion helped us lay the ground work for where we are today. She was recently elected as the Board Secretary for the organization in a special election. She is taking on an even greater role, and we are excited about everything she does to move our mission forward. Read more about her here. "Thank you Carla!" And our undying thanks to Brenda Acevedo who began this journey with us as our very first board secretary. Without you, Wide Horizons, Inc. would have never made it off the ground. |
